DISCONNECT FROM SUCCEED.NET'S METROCELL NETWORK

You've probably accidentally connected to a Succeed.Net access point instead of your access point.  To find out what Wireless Network you are connected to and then connect back to your own, follow the directions below:

If you are indeed connected to the Succeed.Net Highspeed MetroCell Wireless Network, then you will see "succeed.net" or "jah719" in between the ( ) when you hover your mouse over the Wireless Network Connection icon in your system tray (lower right corner of your screen near the clock). Similar to the following picture:




Disconnecting from the Succeed MetroCell Wireless Network

  1. Right Click, 1-time, on the Wireless Network connection icon, located on the system tray, by the time.
     
  2. Left Click, 1-time, View Available Wireless Networks
     

  3. Left Click, 1-time, on the Wireless Network you are connected too, then click Disconnect:

  5. Confirm Disconnect, by select Yes

  7. Select your Wireless Network and click Connect
    Your access point will be named something OTHER than "JAH719" or "Succeed.Net".  Some commons ones are "2WIRE", "Linksys", "Netgear", "Default", etc.
